Regardless of our ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or political affiliation, we have all experienced a level of ignorance towards people that differ from us.
As a species, humans are growing more accepting of others, yet adopting an open attitude at work is insufficient. In the United States, rates of racial segregation are currently higher than they were in the 70’s and having conversations about sex or race are nearly impossible without offending someone.
